About the company
Auriven Labs is a small, independent company based in Nova Scotia. We design, build and run our own products end to end — the apps, the data pipelines behind them, and the support inbox that answers when something goes wrong.
We start from problems we know first-hand. Our first product came out of years spent in Nova Scotia’s old gold districts and the frustration of carrying scattered, desk-bound public data into the field. That became Canada Prospector, now serving prospectors across three provinces.
We are self-directed and answer to the people who use what we make. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or funded by any government agency.

Our approach
A few principles that hold across everything we ship.

Our users work where connectivity is poor and time is short. Offline-first, fast and legible on a phone in the sun is the baseline, not a feature.

Governments publish a great deal of valuable information in formats few people can use. We turn it into tools that work where the work is done.

Official records stay the source of truth, and our products say so plainly. We would rather be clear about what a tool cannot do than oversell it.

Genuinely useful free tiers, straightforward subscriptions in Canadian dollars, no in-app advertising, and we never sell user data. Revenue pays for the servers and the people who keep things current.
